Air Freight Charges
To determine the correct freight charges, we need to know the actual gross weight of the shipment and the dimensions Length, Width and Height of each package/box/carton.
To calculate the volume weight of a shipment, take the greatest Length x greatest Width x greatest Height times the total number of packages then divide by 5000 as applicable.
Example:
- To convert Centimeters to kilograms divide by 5000. The dimensions of a shipment being 85.5 x 48.4 x 50.8 cms are rounded up to 86 x 49 x 51 = 214,914 cubic centimeters which divided by 5000, results in, kgs rounded up to 43 kgs.
